The Refrigeration Cycle

To determine the operating condition of the refrigeration cycle we need information only available through measurements by instruments.

Measurements used in non-problem systems are:

1.      Suction line pressure

2.      Suction line temperature

3.      Liquid pressure

4.      Liquid line temperature leaving the condenser

5.      Return air temperature

6.      Supply air temperature

7.      Ambient temperature

8.      The temperature of the air leaving the condenser.
