Consolidation
"What Me Worry"
W orried about consolidation hurting your
business? Don’t be, there is no greater fear, then fear itself. I
welcome consolidation, and no, I didn’t sell. But all of a sudden
5 competitors just became "1". And those are much better
odds to pick up new customers. Now they only have to make one
mistake before we have a shot.
W e are all pulling out of the same labor
pool, and most of the companies have about the same benefit
packages. The bigger the company – the bigger the staff – the
bigger the payroll – And in turn…. The bigger the hourly rates
to the customer.
P eople and companies these days want to be
able to talk to the person they feel is at the top and with the
consolidators that will not happen. Corporate
America 0 – Small business 1.
I read articles about CEO’s
from these companies that say " beware we are coming to your
cities, and we will put you out of business. Hello…. I thought you
guys have been out there all the time, this is nothing new and this
is nothing that is going to change.
A lready corporate stocks are dropping; the
only people that are getting rich on this are the original officers
that started it. And hats off to them, what better way to retire and
let someone new run your company; they had nothing to lose. And now
they are trying to sell someone else their pipe dream.
I would much rather keep the "
Blue Jean " image, then show up in a
suite and tie. And I know I would rather deal with the " Blue
Jean " owner then the CEO owner, and I really don't think I am
the minority
S o, Why worry, your competition just left
town in search of Corporate America. So have fun picking up their
customers. Thanks
Consolidation.
