Duct Size
The Air Duct Size sizes duct for a specified pressure drop per 100
ft. ; there are others, but this one also has the ability to size
with dimension restraints. For example; if there is only 12 inches
of vertical clearance to fit the duct into (and don't forget the
insulation thickness) then you would enter 12 for the height. If you
don't have any dimension limitations, then the Sizer will size for a
square duct which is the most economical for construction and
operation.

| This program is for estimating the
pounds of ductwork for cost estimates. It estimates poundage
of galvanized sheet metal for several gauges as well as for
rectangular or round duct. It tells you the poundage for the
most recent calculation and keeps a running total of all
duct sections. |
Duct Diameter
This tool is the most simple and does just what it says. Put in the
rectangular units, and it will tell you the round equivalent. Or, it
will calculate the rectangular equivalent given the round diameter.
